Scenic Group Announces the Official Chinese Names for Scenic & Emerald Cruises Fleet of Luxury Ocean and River Cruise Ships

Singapore (August 6, 2025) – Scenic Group (诗宁集团), a global leader in ultra-luxury cruises and land journeys, is proud to unveil the official Chinese names for all its vessels within its Scenic Cruises (诗宁邮轮) and Emerald Cruises (翡翠邮轮) brands. This strategic milestone underscores Scenic Group’s continued commitment to the Asia region and its mission to create a more engaging and accessible experience, for Chinese-speaking guests and Travel Partners.

Following the establishment of its Asia regional headquarters in Singapore in October 2024, this naming initiative further signals the Group’s long-term investment in the region. By adopting standardized and culturally resonant Chinese names, Scenic Group aims to strengthen the brand consistency and identity across the Greater China markets.

This will ensure that translations of the ship names will avoid any inconsistencies across the various markets, with a harmonized approach reinforcing a unified brand voice, for all media platforms and communication channels. New features include a next-generation submersible, Scenic Neptune II, custom-designed with Triton Submarines, enhanced wellness experiences in the Senses Spa and Owner’s Penthouse Suite (in partnership with spa design leaders KLAFS), and the introduction of the new Sky Bar & Deck and Vitality pool.

Celebrating a decade of excellence in 2024, Emerald Cruises & Tours continues to expand its fleet of innovative Emerald Star-Ships on the world’s rivers and luxury ocean yachts.

Emerald Azzurra and Emerald Sakara will be joined by Emerald Kaia in 2026, further enhancing luxury yacht cruising with itineraries across the Mediterranean, Adriatic, Caribbean and Central America, Seychelles and Indian Ocean. The fleet will further grow with Emerald Raiya (2027) and Emerald Xara (2028), offering new boutique superyacht itineraries.

Emerald Astra, debuting in 2026 as the 10th Emerald Star-Ship in the river fleet, will elevate Emerald Cruises’ renowned river cruising experience. Looking ahead to 2027, the 11th Star-Ship, Emerald Lumi, will mark the brand’s first sailing on the Seine River, offering elegant roundtrip voyages from Paris.
